Illustrations for Piraquê's Carioca potato chips new packages. The images pay homage to the city of Rio de Janeiro showing some of its numerous landmarks: a panoramic view with the Pão de Açúcar mountains, the Copacabana promenade and the Maracanã Stadium.
The term carioca is used to refer to the native inhabitants of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The original word, kara'i oka, comes from the indigenous Amerindian language of the Tupi people, meaning white man's house. It is said that the first Portuguese dwellings in Rio de Janeiro were placed along a limpid stream, which soon got the Portuguese name carioca.

Illustration for Heineken Beer Premium, commissioned to promote Heineken's Green Ride campaign Enjoy the Ride. Enjoy Responsibly. The campaign launched a fleet of taxis to the streets of Sao Paulo to raise public awareness of responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages, urging people to avoid drinking and driving.
As part of the campaign, Heineken made available seven unusual vehicles: a 1957 Bel’Air, a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle, a 1961 Vespa, a 1975 Mini Cooper, a 1957 Romi Isetta, a Tuk-tuk and a Rickshaw. Anyone who ordered a cab via the Easy Taxi app during the week of November 15th to 21st was eligible to get a ride in one of those and a big surprise: each one received one of my limited edition poster at the end of the ride!
